Neon Nights
Macy and Alex’s classic summer wedding would certainly inspire any brides to be. The details were thoughtful and elegant, with clean lines and symmetrical design, from the ceremony to the end of the reception.
Macy and Alex kicked off their wedding day with a first touch, where they read each other their private vows. As they enjoyed the morning with their wedding party in the salon and theater, the Best Day Floral team put their final touches on the ceremony site. The pergola was adorned with greenery and three beautiful floral arrangements across the front beam. They also added an arrangement to the wooden cross that stood behind Macy and Alex during the ceremony.
Following the ceremony, Macy and Alex sipped a glass of champagne and signed their marriage license while their guests lined up along the path to shower them in flower petals and congratulations.
The Polaroid guestbook was a hit and guests were able to add their well wishes next to the photo they’d snapped. Macy and Alex also arranged for beverage burros to join the party, which wandered around with bottles of beer. The burros even headed to the ceremony site to drop off a few drinks for the newlyweds!
As cocktail hour wrapped up, guests marveled as they stepped into the perfectly curated reception room. Greeted by mirrored signage, soft summer colors, bountiful florals, and a stunning cake, everyone slowly made their way to their seats to take in the details. Greens Point Catering preset their salads, which made the room feel extra vibrant with pops of color coming from the plates! Macy’s father also built the wooden hexagon that held their neon sign and more florals, which attracted more attention as the night progressed.
After toasting, the newlyweds headed to the dance floor for their first dance. The darkening skies allowed their neon sign to glow brightly in the background. Suit and Tie DJs kept the dance floor moving and shaking all night, while the Shutterbus and excellent weather made the outdoors an attractive place to laugh and mingle.
Well done and congratulations Macy and Alex!
