Recipe For A Lasting Marriage
Elle and Arlin’s December wedding was an elegant affair, which featured gold and burgundy colors that popped brilliantly with the snowy winter weather.
The morning was full of fun and photos, including a couple of gorgeous first looks with Elle, her father, and Arlin. The bouquets from Lilac & Sage Studio were a testament to the beauty of bold colors against winter backgrounds.
Elle and Arlin wanted their ceremony to feel extra personal with elements like their cookie recipe unity ceremony. During the ceremony, they added ingredients to a cookie jar that symbolized important qualities for a healthy marriage. The main ingredient, flour, represented a strong foundation for a lasting marriage.
As the room was transformed from ceremony to reception, guests shared cocktails at the bar upstairs and deliberated over the couple’s “sip and solve” crossword puzzle.
The reception hall featured camel and burgundy linens with gold accents. Florals and lanterns from the indoor ceremony aisle doubled as centerpieces for the reception tables. Tall, gold candelabras were custom-made for the event and framed up the stage for the ceremony and the sweetheart table at dinner. Gold chargers helped to tie together the timeless, elegant look.
Once Suit & Tie DJ’s took to the DJ booth, the party didn’t stop until these two ran through the tunnel of guests and off to their honeymoon suite in the chateau.
What a wonderful winter celebration! Congrats Elle and Arlin!
