Rainy Day, Dream Away

Jena and Brendan’s wedding was DREAMY. The pink, peach, maroon, and soft blue palette created a playful and inviting summer wedding atmosphere and absolutely jaw dropping photos.

The morning was cool and sunny, so Jena and her bridesmaids sipped coffee and mimosas on the salon deck as they got ready with Beauty on Location. Brendan and his groomsmen spent the morning watching golf, playing Mario Kart in the theater, and sharing drinks before their morning photos.

Jena & Brendan’s first look was captured during the cloud cover, just before the day-long rainstorm began. The moody weather made for stunning lighting. Fun and romantic are two words that Jena and Brendan use to describe their relationship, and you can see it reflected in their gallery from Rachel Veltri Photography.

Palmer flowers created a gorgeous, low-hanging floral display with long, draping greenery on the pergola. With truly one of the most beautiful ceremony sites we’ve seen at Della Terra, Jena and Brendan were just a few short rain delays from starting their ceremony. All guests and wedding party were given umbrellas to stay dry and the rain let up just long enough for Jena to make it down the aisle.

The reception hall was magnificent, decked out in dazzling floral displays. The stormy blue and white color scheme felt unique and elegant, but maintained the inviting summertime wedding charm. Guests enjoyed catering from Front Range Catering and were given freshly baked cookies from Boulder Baked for dessert.

Suit & Tie DJ captivated the audience with a comical round of the Newlywed Game, before setting fire to the dance floor. As the night came to a close, Jena and Brendan sneaked outside for a final “secret dance” to soak up the final moments of their wedding day before heading off to the honeymoon suite.
