Wood-Fired Romance
This wedding was an impeccably styled nod to the merging of the Maggio’s Italian, Cuban, and Persian cultures. You can feel the warmth and love jumping through the photos in this fabulous fall celebration.
Ashley’s lacy wedding dress wove together modern and vintage vibes. It’s undoubtedly a flattering, personal expression of ornate traditional Persian dress. She also wore the same earrings that her mother, grandmother, and great grandmother did for their wedding ceremonies.
With all the beautiful florals and greenery from Boulder Blooms and the colorful installation on the cocktail deck, you might forget that this wedding was also benefitting from peak fall colors in Estes Park! Lauren Pippin perfectly captured how magical and enchanting this fall day felt.
Ashley and Patrick were hoping to create a romantic, authentic, and playful environment for the day. It was important to them not to feel rushed so they gave their guests plenty to keep entertained. Deer strutted back and forth across the hillside and turkeys came in close for a peek at the wedding ceremony. From the intimate veiled photos and post-ceremony stroll through yellowing aspens, to photo ops with the beverage burros and trying their hand at the wood-fired pizza oven, these two nailed their vision.
Guests moved indoors after cocktail hour, though the neon sign and colorful backdrop remained on the deck for stunning sunset photos. After dinner, DJ Cyn took control and performed a killer set that kept the energy high through the night.
There’s no doubt that this was a memorable wedding for everyone involved and invited. Congratulations to Ashley and Patrick, we hope the journey of marriage is a great one and we’re proud to have been a part of it.
