Winter Glamour
Joie and Michael’s three day event last January was a glamorous and glorious affair. They had three days of Della Terra all to themselves, which certainly made lasting memories for everyone involved!
Three day events don’t come often, but when they do, there’s a surge of energy around the entire property. Joie and Michael’s wedding weekend was no exception. The photos from Colorado Wedding Productions captured the electric energy of the wedding day that was palpable all weekend.
It all started with a rehearsal dinner and welcome party for the guests. Origins Pizza provided fresh wood-fried pizza for the event, which was a fun and festive way to kick things off. It also gave them some time to settle into the place, decorate the ceremony site, and prepare for the big day.
The next morning, overnight clouds rolled out and left a soft blanket of fresh snow. While Joie and Michael got ready with their wedding party, their vendor teams arrived to create a truly unique setting at the ceremony site. Painted Primrose glammed up the pergola with lots of greenery, sweeping chiffon, and a chandelier.
Many guests traveled from the southeastern U.S., so it would suffice to say that the January mountain temperatures were a bit chilly for them. Fortunately, the reception hall was transformed into a luxuriously cozy place to escape the cold. Fireplaces upstairs warmed the reception hall, while Edison bulbs hung from stage greenery to bring a warm and stylish twist to the decor. Footers catering also provided delicious appetizers and hot beverages, while Della Terra’s bar offered libations to shake the cold.
Colorado Rose provided a beautiful wedding cake for the couple to serve up before breaking in the dance floor. As the party started ramping up, the Shutterbus pulled in for some photo memories in the VW van. The couple’s DJ friend, Foti, kept the party going through the night!
The day-after brunch was hosted in the reception hall for friends and family staying onsite. Jubilations provided the food, while Della Terra’s bar served up some Bloody Marys and mimosas to help ease the pains caused by the night before.
This was such a special weekend for Joie and Michael and we are thrilled to have hosted the party. Cheers to you both in your marriage!
