Love and Light in Fall
Janice and Matt’s striking October wedding brought love and light to all who witnessed. Their outdoor wedding ceremony was misty and magical, with timeless Fall florals and aspen leaves galore!
Couples who wed in the Fall often dream of that perfect time frame when the aspens are turning and the weather is still warm. Janice and Matt were greeted with Fall’s most glorious of days for their early October wedding at Della Terra. From morning until last dance, these two were beaming, joyful and happily lost in each other’s presence.
Matt’s groomsmen wore charcoal grey suits, navy ties, and Fall foliage boutonnieres. The ladies wore navy bridesmaid gowns and donned deep coral shawls that matched beautifully with their Fall bouquets. Janice was the most elegant and regal bride. Her lace and satin wedding dress was accented beautifully by her “something blue” vintage earrings and a timeless updo.
We loved the personal touches and pieces of Fall that Janice and Matt put into their day. Janice’s wedding day attire included several pieces of sentimental jewelry to add meaning to their day. Even the button hook used on her wedding dress was a family treasure. During the ceremony, Janice and Matt poured two different colors of glass pieces into a vase together. The glass would later be blown into a sculpture, forever joining the intricacies of their love and lives together with one another. Later, guests were invited into the reception where aspen tree centerpieces, dinner menus, and party favor ornaments awaited them. This happy duo even opted for an aspen tree wedding cake, featuring an aspen bark design along with Fall aspen leaves incorporated throughout. As a custom cake topper, the newlyweds displayed two Adirondack chairs with their names on them, symobolizing the reflection, contentment, and outdoor adventure that will be the backdrop of their happily every after.
Throughout the evening, Janice and Matt’s family celebrated this beautiful day with many thoughtful words, festive moments, and tears of happiness for the newlyweds.
